This series which is quite recent, portrays another of my loves, WATER. Once again, patterns intrigue me and there are so many of them floating on the water's complex surface. The myriad of pattern reflecting from the sky and landscape also has an awesome ability to invite you in…. and the SPARKLES, those tiny shafts of light dancing across the water and glowing like little diamonds, with their light reflecting off of the rippled pattern also draws me in. The beauty of it all is so overwhelming.
Here I have tried to portray just a glimpse of what I see and feel. There are many more of these watercolor paintings in the making. With a lot more observation, perhaps I may be able to capture a bit more of the wonder.
